And now look where we are! Page 100! Can you believe it! I can't say this is directly from personal experience on my part, but it sure references a lot of things I am familiar with. This sequence has Jon and I in stitches. I'm glad to say my own bank account set up was a pretty orderly affair and I had my hanko ready to go. A hanko by the way is an ink stamp with your name carved into it. It's what Japanese use instead of signatures. Not really secure if you ask me but anyways. I have heard stories of stubborn bureaucrats and witless foreigners, and I was witness to a similar exchange at a post office when someone forgot to bring their stamp to sign for their package.
